Distributor Sales Representative
The Distributor Sales Representative (DSR) role is responsible for generating their own set of customers and is responsible for growing territory sales through account penetration, and opening new accounts. Constant communication with District Sales Manager is required.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:. Foodservice Sales - anywhere food is consumed away from home, Restaurants, Clubs, Healthcare, Schools, Institutions
. Open and develop new accounts (90% of time spent in field)
. Visit customers and prospects on regular/routine basis
. Oversee Product demonstrations utilizing our Corporate Chef
. Build relationships with customers and prospects
. Provide consultative services such as menu engineering utilizing our graphic designers
. Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary, working with credit department and client.
. Promote proprietary technology solutions to enhance the customer experience
. Research customer business needs and develop mix of products and service to meet needs utilizing over 10,000 items
. Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining sales records, price quotes, menu suggestions
. This position often requires working non- traditional hours (evening, weekends and holidays) in order to successfully meet customers' needs.
. Processing orders on a laptop computer
Qualifications:. Relevant work experience or college degree preferred
. Excellent communication skills
. Background in the Restaurant Industry and/or sales
. Exceptional Organizational Skills to meet deadlines
. Self- Starter
. Valid driver's license with a "clean" driving record
. Applicant must pass required Drug and Physical Screening
. Reside in geographic vicinity of territory
